THANK YOU WARREN BUFFET - REST IN PEACE AARON SPELLING

This photo was taken one year ago at Duke Vincent's book party for Mafia Summer. I was a brand new actress in town when I first met Aaron Spelling. I was on a date with an agent at La Scala and Spelling was at the front booth with Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner. I was star-struck. As I passed by their table, Spelling stopped me and asked me to come in to meet his casting director the next day, Cathy Henderson. I did, and got my first professional part on TV: Love Boat. I was a nervous wreck and played a girl in a bikini playing shuffleboard, with just one or two lines. I remember the makeup artist putting too much blush on my face, so I looked beet-red or purple. I could barely say the lines, my voice jumped two octaves and sounded like a hyena. The next part he gave me was on Charlie's Angels, playing a real estate broker, standing behind Shelly Hack. After that I got the series Too Close for Comfort, and ended up doing 9 guest starring roles for Aaron Spelling: Fantasy Island (as a Playmate of the Year with John James from Dynasty), 5 Love Boats, 2 Hotels, T.J. Hooker.

He was one of the kindest, most wonderful men in the business and treated everyone like royalty. I will miss him.
God Bless his family.

YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU. HOW TO GET RICH? GIVE TO THE POOR. Warren Buffet just gave away the bulk of his fortune to charity, via the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the wealthiest and most generous charitable Foundation helping those less fortunate all over the world to obtain health care, fight diseases, build homes, rebuild libraries and improve education. These amazing people are living examples of Christ's admonition for the wealthy to help care for the "least among us." God Bless Warren Buffet for not waiting until after his death; and God Bless Bill and Melinda Gates for living their principles. And God Bless Angelina Jolie for giving away a full one-third of her income to help the poor. The Christ is awake in the ship. Christ consciousness is rising.

Ann Coulter keeps saying Democrats should be offended that she calls them godless. With a god like Ann Coulter's, who needs a devil? Who would want Ann Coulter's brand, when it is the opposite of God? We can't even be offended by her perverse book title calling more than half of all Americans godless. Just to "play with liberals heads", she chose the Number of the Beast 6/6/06 as her release date.

  • Hey Lydia, I saw Aaron Spelling died this morning and forgot to mention it, he created some great shows that I grew up watching, he was a great person.

I was going to ask you to post some stories about him (if you have time), but I see you allready did as I always like hearing stories about some who passed away just to get a feel for what kind of person they were and what they were like. please feel free to most more stories if you have the time.

  • Victor Davis Hanson: Why the Democrats Won't Win
    realclearpolitics.com

Will President Bush's current unpopularity translate into a Democratic recapture of either the House or Senate this fall - or a victory in the 2008 presidential election?

    Probably not.

Despite widespread unhappiness with the Republicans, it is hard to envision a majority party run by Howard Dean, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.

    Why?

All sorts of apparent and not-so-apparent reasons. First, recent events and trends have complicated Democrats' talking points about George W. Bush's purported failings.

The so-called "jobless" recovery has seen low unemployment rates comparable to the Clinton boom years.

Last September, many people blamed what they viewed as a stingy federal government for the chaos following Hurricane Katrina. But now we learn individuals' fraudulent claims and spending accounted for $1.4 billion in federal largess. Too much was apparently thrown around from big government too generously, rather than too little, too slowly.

Karl Rove was supposedly going to be "frog-marched" out of the White House in cuffs for a role in outing CIA agent Valerie Plame. Instead, the special prosecutor recently found no evidence that he was involved in any wrongdoing.

And then there's Iraq. The recent killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and the establishment of a complete Iraqi democratic Cabinet will not ensure a quick victory, as we see from the recent slaughter of American captive soldiers. But both events still weaken the liberal clamor that the American effort at birthing democracy is doomed in Iraq. Calling for a deadline to leave, as Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., and Sen. John Kerry, D-Ma., advocate, is not so compelling when the current policy is based on training the growing Iraqi security forces so that American troops can come home as soon as possible.

Thus, looking ahead to the elections, there is little that the Democrats will be able to capitalize on.

Take the budget deficit. Total federal annual revenues have increased despite, or because of, the tax cuts. Yet at the same time budget expenditures in the first Bush term grew at a much faster annual rate than during Bill Clinton's administration. So the time-honored remedy for the shortfall calls for cuts and a more conservative budget cruncher, hardly a liberal forte.

Even in an area like illegal immigration where Bush is getting hammered by his own party, the Democrats aren't in good shape. Their similar support for amnesty and guest workers gives them the same Bush negatives on those issues. But they suffer the additional burden of apparent laxity on open borders.

Meanwhile, the Democrats face a more fundamental, existential problem. The addition of China and India to the world capitalist system has brought well over a billion workers into the global marketplace. The planet is now flooded with cheap consumer goods - at precisely the time the U.S. economy keeps creating national wealth at a rapid clip.

The result is that while there may be more inequality than ever before in the no-holds-barred world mart, the middle class and poor in the U.S. have access to "things" - TVs, sound systems, clothes, cars - undreamed of in the past. We are now in the age of MTV and mass conspicuous consumption, not of the grapes of wrath. American class warfare can no longer be defined by the Democratic Party as an elemental need for a 40-hour workweek, unemployment and disability insurance, or Social Security.

Unfortunately, the liberal debate has devolved to why one person has more opportunity for leisure and even nicer things than others do. A sort of envy rather than hunger more often fuels the gripe - and that should require a subtle Democratic acknowledgment that things continue to improve for everyone.

Finally, in the past, savvy Democrats understood the need for a conservative package for such liberal contents. To win the popular vote in presidential races, the formula was to nominate a Southern governor or senator - as in 1964, 1976, 1992, 1996 and 2000 - and then hope either for a Republican scandal such as Watergate or Iran-Contra, or a populist third-party conservative like Ross Perot.

In contrast, recently any time the liberal base got its wish and nominated a Northern progressive - 1968, 1972, 1984, 1988 or 2004 - the party lost the presidency. So far even Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, Katrina and Haditha have not equated to past national scandals; nor will there likely be a prairie-fire independent to draw votes away from the Republicans.

Yes, much of the public is grumpy at high gas prices. It does not like the costs in Iraq and continuing budget deficits. And people worry about unchecked illegal immigration and dangers on the horizon, from Iran to North Korea. But when Americans get inside the voting booth, they probably will think the envisioned Democratic remedy is worse than the current perceived Republican disease.

Save that stuff for the political threads.

  • TT and WORF - You can post here since this is current. I am adding a political item tonight. About the banking scandal and the Sears Tower terror plot.

My apologies TT, if Lydia said its ok then its ok, and I stand corrected......however I still have to ask you, WHY would you post that big long post first in the other thread, then post it AGAIN in this thread, despite a string of posts in this thread that are all paying respect to Aaron Spelling and have nothing to do with politics. It just strikes me a little odd that someone would totally ignore the theme and tone of a thread and repost something unrelated that they just posted in a prior thread. Again Lydia did say you can post politics here so you did nothing wrong TT, I just think you kinda followed the letter of the law instead of the spirit by ignoring or not being aware of the tone and theme of the thread at that point.

oh well, I look forward to the new post on the terrorism plot on the Sears Tower, I think that will generate some good discussion. I apologize for my prior comment TT I guess I was out of line.

Rene, before this thread turns political, IO just want to say that Aaron spelling truely touched many of our lives and had a tremendous impact on our lives with the many wonderful shows he created, I thoroughly enjoyed Charlies Angels, Vegas, Dynasty, etc... as well, and many a Saturday were spent watching Love Boat then Fantasy Island and then Saturday Night Live when I was a kid. And although he is no longer with us, those fond memories I had of all those shows will live on.

BTW, who ever thought of rereleasing all those old shows in their entirety on DVD was a genius, i'm slowly but surely building my collection of all my favorite old shows.

I just saw that stuff at the top of the site Mike.

What the heck is going on?

Why in Gods name would Lydia be helping Ann Coulter sell her book?

And why in Gods name would Ann Coulter be advertising on Lydias site?

I mean, its a Conservative BOOK CLUB for Petes sake! What gives?

Lydia? What is up with that?

By Blogger WORFEUS, at 7:29 PM

Thats gonna be my guess until I hear otherwise.

Lydia's been part of the Right wing conspiracy for many years now.

Frank Rich on Sunday: Bush's Homeland Security Department is nothing but a networking boot camp for future private contractors. "Franklin D. Somehow that unwieldy, bloated government took less time to win World War II than George W. Bush's privatized government is taking to blow this one."

  • Actually Feingold is starting to lose me on many issues.

He says a lot of the right stuff, to win the appeal of the far left, but he’s way out there on some issues. Like being opposed to amnesty for enemy combatents to make peace.

People want to say, oh they’re murdering the troops in one breath, but say “we’re at war” in the next.

    Well? Which is it?

Because if this is a war, then these guys have the right to kill as many of us who are in their country as they can. Thats what a war is. How can you hate the enemy soldiers for shooting back at you? For defending their homeland?

We can’t just kill every soldier of the opposing army.

Buffett also frequently speaks out about corporate greed and corruption and has openly decried Ceo's making 1000 times the average workers salary. He also regularly speaks out about the war and the deficit and poor government policies like the tax cuts for the rich geared to benefit just the elite.

I say we all chip in $20-$50 and take out an add of our own on the top of the page saying Ann Coulter SUCKSS!!!!!!

By Blogger Mike, at 10:31 PM

  • Mike said: "Actually Feingold is starting to lose me on many issues."

Yes, and besides, why would you vote for anyone who looks just like Soupy Sales!

Lydia, let's not start attacking the "maritally challenged." After all, you never denied that you are not really, legally married a few weeks ago. I mean as long as you bring the subject up, it's fair game, no?

I know I'm going to be attacked for getting on Lydia personally, but isn't that just what she's doing, like she doesn't have any skeletons in her closet, or like the Democrats don't have any skeletons in their closets. Between Bill Clinton and Ted Kennedy, you could build a haunted house. I saw Ted Kennedy on C-SPAN last night, and he's got a new children's book out about his dog named "Splash." I mean this guy is begging to get made fun of. "Splash," by Ted "The Swimmer Kennedy"?
He may as well just name the book "Chappaquiddick." What a joke.

And Hillary Clinton probably has more skeletons in her closet than anyone. Yes, the current Democratic frontrunner, Hillary Clinton, who brought you Filegate, the death of Vince Foster, the Juanita Broderick cover-up, Whitewater, and on and on is the Democratic frontrunner. The GOP frontrunner is the John McCain, the former POW who took torture for his country and didn't break.

    Who would YOU vote for?

By Anonymous Tall Texan, at 6:12 AM

  • Troll Texan said "Lydia, let's not start attacking the "maritally challenged." After all, you never denied that you are not really, legally married a few weeks ago. I mean as long as you bring the subject up, it's fair game, no?"

Let me try to follow your logic a bit here Troll Tex, so would I be correct in assuming that if i accuse you of being a child molestor in one of my long posts and you dont deny it, possibly because you were busy or didnt see it that you are a child molestor?????

Now it may be true that she isnt married and it may be false but what is the difference?

    1) she is not running for an elected office.

    2) Even if she wasnt legally married that would still be consistent with what I feel is the majority of our (liberals ) opinion that the divorce rate is way to high and that marriage is a sacred and very serious thing and should not be entered into lightly because people feel it is the thing to do, or it is what they are supposed to do, or because they are lonely and dont feel comfortable being alone or single.

    3) lastly it is your party that is so piously focused on religious and family values not ours that was why Clif and Lydia were poking fun at YOUR candidates, see Troll Tex, at this point i'm just looking for a good smart president or Congress that can help lead our country in the right direction, the most important thing to me is his ability to do his job and make our country a better place not if he is divorced or if he gets a blowjob outside of his marriage, thats stuff your party focuses on because you have nothing else.

    Al Gore!

By Blogger Mike, at 7:19 AM

  • Mike, since Lydia herself thought that this subject was worthy of discussion (see the quote below), then no one should be upset if I point out the hypocrisy of her statement. You have noted that she isn't running for anything, and you have suggested that this somehow immunizes her from criticism. The fact that she has chosen to make public comments on a blog that she created and has a forthcoming book devoted to attacking Ann Coulter makes her fair game in that regard. Not only is she a public figure, she is holding herself out as a political commentator on the Internet, in book form, on radio shows and television shows, and in this capacity, she has decided to comment on other public figures' marital status. As a matter of fact, your criticism of me for being critical Lydia is no different than Ann Coulter being critical of other public figures, such as the "Jersey Girls," being critical of the Bush admininstration (and I disagree with Coulter on this).

So, tell me, Mike, how is your position regarding my criticism of Lydia any different than Ann Coulter's position vis a vis the Jersey Girls? Seems to me that you are taking a very similar position to Ann Coulter, and yet you still criticize her for doing the same thing that you are doing.

    "Lydia Cornell said...

By Anonymous Tall Texan, at 7:40 AM

  • TT, you have every right to criticize whoever you want, just like I have every right to point out your hippocrissy and criticize you right back.

But like I said before failure to deny something, particularly on a blog where you may not have time to read everything is not admission of guilt. just because she didnt deny to you that she is leglly married does not mean she isnt legally married.

and just because she didnt take her husband;s last name does not mean she isnt legally married, most actresses, lawyers, doctors and other various professionals dont take their husbands names when they marry, the majority of my female co waorkers still use their maiden names, I know I wouldnt change my last name if I was a female and married, thats a classic example of following dogma and the letter of the law instead of the spirit without evn knowing why, kind of similar to the amish and pious jews not driving their cars or leaving their houses on the sabbath without even knowing the reason for the custom, which was because the sabbath was supposed to be a day of rest and relaxation and it was a lot of work to saddle up the horse and wagon and they would get all dirty.

Furthermore TT there is a huge difference between divorce and living together without formally being married, Lydia, Cliff and the rest of us were decrying divorce not living together without being married. Personally I see nothing wrong with living together without being married particularly if it will prevent divorce, I think too many people rush into marriage too quickly for the wrong reasons and thats why the divorce rates are so high today. also TT it seems to be your party that hippocritally is claiming to be the morality police and claiming to have the monopoly on family values and moraliity and that was what Clif and Lydia were poking fun at,the irony seems to have gone right over your head though TT

By Blogger Mike, at 8:29 AM

  • Mike, it was LYDIA who picked up on Cliff's comments and it was LYDIA who repeated them, and applauded him for his comments about certain Republicans who have had affairs and then divorced,
but when people on the same blog (her blog) ask her if her marriage is legal and real, she is suspiciously silent.

She could put the whole matter to rest and say "Yes, I am legally married," or "No, I am not legally married," but if she isn't legally married, then all her self-help quotes about marriage and her husband on the main part of her page are lies.

I could care less if two people are living together in a committed relationship, but considering the fact that the Internet Movie Database is notoriously accurate does not mention a spouse, then the question arises.

This information is easily obtainable, but I'm not so interested to pay some data broker to find out.

One thing for sure is that Lydia knows and isn't telling. That's her right, but it's my right to call that suspicious.

By Anonymous Tall Texan, at 8:55 AM

  • TT she's busy writing her books and raising her kids (you know family values and all) so like I said before just because she didnt respond to you doesnt mean your accusations are true any more than if I accused you of being a child molestor and you didnt respond, for god sakes TT the lady is busy and probably doesnt read every post or have time to respond to every post directed to her, I made a few comments directed to her and asked a few questions lately, but just because she didnt respond does not mean she is dodging my questions, doesnt want to answer, is mad at me or you etc.... people are busy TT.

Lastly i'm going to repeat this for the third or fourth time, is it so difficult for you to discern that Lydia and Clif were speaking out about married people that were divorced, NOT PEOPLE WHO WERRE NOT MARRIED you are capable of seeing the difference arent you.

You claim you despise the psychic Friends Network and unfounded accusations and unsubstantiated facts yet you accuse her of something with no facts or proof to back up your accusations, and failure to respond is not admission of guilt TT, if I accused you of beating your wife or molesting children and you didnt respond am I to take it that what Isaid MUST BE TRUE, I allready asked if you molested children and you didnt respond TT, so I guess I am to assume by your logic that you are a child molestor TT.

By Blogger Mike, at 9:22 AM

  • Mike, I deny every ugly allegation against me in your last post. I have never stated that I "despise the Psychic Friends Network," but I've used that as a metaphor or a simile to prove a point.

I've never claimed that Lydia wasn't married. Lydia reads the comments since she answers them, I simply find her silence on the matter (which is central to her current nightclub act) to be suspicious. That's not an accusation; it's a question. He said it Mikey. I sat right here and watched him on Meet the Press.

I am guessing his handlers have gotten to him already.

He makes sense on a lot of stuff, and I think he should get his seat back in congress, but I'd be hard pressed to vote for a guy that apparently thinks we need to kill every soldier on the battlefield from the enemys side.

Up until yesterday I really liked Feingold, and I still like him.

The McCain\Feingold bill to end torture endeared him to me, however if he's just going to be another guy who wants to be President, like Hilary, than I am going to be looking elsewhere for our guy\gal.

Yeah I said it was a bunch of crap right when it broke on Friday, it obviously was all about politics, and in retrospect it was most likely in response to the leak about the financial spying, they were obviously trying to justify what they are doing and drum up support by saying "see what we are doing is good, we actually caught a terrorist boys and girls"

I find it insulting that they called the reporters who leaked this traitors, first of all not only did the treasury secretary actually come out and say on the air, they were doing this a while back, but so did Bush after 9/11, this is imply the terrorists are totally stupid and incompetent to not to think the government was checking the money trail, I wonder if the Mobsters heard the government is monitoring financial transactions, gee think of all the increased organized crime in this country now that the mob knows this because of the treasonous media.LOL

Can these fools really be this dumb to even say something this stupid and moronic, gee i wonder if the Nazi's knew we were spying on them in WW2, its lucky the treasonous media didnt clue them in or we might have lost the war.

By Blogger Mike, at 9:12 PM

These poor clowns they arrested were like a bunch of mental paitents living in an abandoned warehouse.

No money of their own and no funding. No support or backers, no association with any terrorist groups and of course, no weapons. bombs or chemicals of any kind.

Thats one hell of a bust.

John McCain (affair, divorce).

Let's not forget whom the Pubbies have run in the past:

Bob Dole -Lived with Liddy before he was divorced from his first wife.

Bush the Elder - Jennifer Fitzgerald, anyone?

    Gerald Ford - divorced

Ronald Reagan - was banging Nancy long before Jane Wyman got wise.

The last Republican to be even close to chaste was Richard Nixon, who probably could have stood to get his plumbing cleaned every so often (pun intended)

  • Bush Ignores Laws He Signs, Vexing Congress
President Has Issued 750 Statements That He May Revise or Disregard Measures
    By LAURIE KELLMAN, AP

"There's this notion that the president is committing acts of civil disobedience, and he's not," said Bush's press secretary Tony Snow, speaking at the White House. "It's important for the president at least to express reservations about the constitutionality of certain provisions."

Snow spoke as Senate Judiciary Committe Chairman Arlen Specter opened hearings on Bush's use of bill signing statements saying he reserves the right to revise, interpret or disregard a measure on national security and consitutional grounds. Such statements have accompanied some 750 statutes passed by Congress -- including a ban on the torture of detainees and the renewal of the Patriot Act.

"There is a sense that the president has taken signing statements far beyond the customary purview," Specter, R-Pa., said.

"It's a challenge to the plain language of the Constitution," he added. "I'm interested to hear from the administration just what research they've done to lead them to the conclusion that they can cherry-pick."

A Justice Department lawyer defended Bush's statements.

"Even if there is modest increase, let me just suggest that it be viewed in light of current events and Congress' response to those events," said Justice Department lawyer Michelle Boardman. "The significance of legislation affecting national security has increased markedly since Sept. 11."

Specter's hearing is about more than the statements. He's been compiling a list of White House practices he bluntly says could amount to abuse of executive power -- from warrantless domestic wiretapping program to sending officials to hearings who refuse to answer lawmakers' questions.

But the session also concerns countering any influence Bush's signing statements may have on court decisions regarding the new laws. Courts can be expected to look to the legislature for intent, not the executive, said Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas., a former state judge.

"There's less here than meets the eye," Cornyn said. "The president is entitled to express his opinion. It's the courts that determine what the law is."

But Specter and his allies maintain that Bush is doing an end-run around the veto process. In his presidency's sixth year, Bush has yet to issue a single veto that could be overridden with a two-thirds majority in each house.

"The president is not required to (veto)," Boardman said.

"Of course he's not if he signs the bill," Specter snapped back.

Instead, Bush has issued hundreds of signing statements invoking his right to interpret or ignore laws on everything from whistleblower protections to how Congress oversees the Patriot Act.

"It means that the administration does not feel bound to enforce many new laws which Congress has passed," said David Golove, a New York University law professor who specializes in executive power issues. "This raises profound rule of law concerns. Do we have a functioning code of federal laws?"

Signing statements don't carry the force of law, and other presidents have issued them for administrative reasons, such as instructing an agency how to put a certain law into effect. They usually are inserted quietly into the federal record.

Bush's signing statement in March on Congress's renewal of the Patriot Act riled Specter and others who labored for months to craft a compromise between Senate and House versions, and what the White House wanted. Reluctantly, the administration relented on its objections to new congressional oversight of the way the FBI searches for terrorists.

Bush signed the bill with much flag-waving fanfare. Then he issued a signing statement asserting his right to bypass the oversight provisions in certain circumstances.

Specter isn't sure how much Congress can do to check the practice. "We may figure out a way to tie it to the confirmation process or budgetary matters," he said.

By Blogger WORFEUS, at 5:29 PM

  • On flag burning.

Burning the flag is indeed an act of peaceful protest against a government.

It is done, and has been done, in countries throughout the world for thousands of years.

Additionally it is protected by the First Amendment to the US Constitution.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

This is a broad right to protest, and the framers of the Constitution were careful not to identify any ONE method of protest, other than to dictate that it be a "peaceful protest".

Since there is no Constitutional declaration authorizing a single medium or vehicle for the people to assemble, deciding how, where and when to assemble, and what to do once they have assembled, has been left in the hands of the people.

    Where it belongs.

Therefore, if I am burning my flag, at a time or a place where general burning is not prohibited, and with others who have assembled with me, to voice our grievance of the government, then that is my Constitutional right.

    Period.

By Blogger WORFEUS, at 6:06 PM

  • The reason I am about Flag Burning and the reason I see this issue as so important, other than the damage to our liberty and our Constitution, is because it is the perfect example, and a perfect demonstration of the emotionally motivated right.

Everything they do, and I mean EVERYTHING, is based on one thing.

    EMOTION.

They attacked Iraq not because they presented a threat, but because they wanted to kill Arabs. The emotion?

    Revenge.

And the flag burning ammendment is not because flag burning in any way threatens America, or Americans, but because it makes them “feel bad”.

    The emotion?

    Anger.

Mark my words and see for yourselves. Go back, and look at everything a republican does. I mean EVERYTHING.

You will find that EVERYTHING republicans do are not based on logic, reason or deduction. They are ALL however based on emotions.

IRAQ ANALYST: WARNINGS ABOUT INSURGENTS IGNORED

Colin Powell's famous speech to the United Nations on the threat from Iraq one month before the U.S. invasion was ``the perpetuation of a hoax'' and ``the lowest point in my professional life,'' his longtime chief of staff told a group of Democratic senators Monday.

Lawrence Wilkerson, a former U.S. Army colonel who retired last year, said he learned after the secretary of state's February 2003 speech that key elements were wrong, based on faulty or manipulated intelligence.

Days after the United States invaded Iraq, senior U.S. officials were warned that Iraqi Sunnis would strongly resist American troops' occupation efforts, according to testimony given yesterday before Senate Democrats.

Wayne White, a former deputy director in the State Department's Bureau of Intelligence and Research, told senators that when British soldiers were forced to repeatedly take the port city of Umm Qasr from Iraqi guerrillas, "I knew then and there that we would have a serious problem on our hands."

  • GLOBAL WARMING: BUSH'S CLIMATE OF FEAR
    Monday June 26, 2006
    CBC Newsworld

Some of America's leading climate scientists claim that they have been censored and gagged by the U.S. administration.

One of them believes the publication of his report, which catalogues the unprecedented rate of ice melt in the Arctic, was delayed as Americans prepared to vote in 2004.

The scientists claim that when Bush came to power in 2000 his administration selected advice which argued that global warming was not a result of human activities and that the phenomenon could be natural.

But one of the people who suggested the president adopt that position explains how he has changed his point of view: "It's now 2006. I think most people would conclude that there is global warming taking place and that the behaviour of humans is affecting the climate. I am not the administration. What they want to do is their business. it has nothing to do with what I believe."
